Bollinger Champagne Special Cuvée is a non vintage blend with the addition of reserve wines and is described as a classic Pinot complex Champagnes with up to 10% reserve wine to provide the typical cuvee texture of 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Meunier.

Grand Année vintage is produced from grapes of an outstanding harvest to create a Champagne Grand Année. This Champagne can also be produced as Rosé Champagne. No Pinot Meunier is incorporated.

R.D. vintage means récemment dégorgé or recently disgorged and is a development of the Grand Année blend spending eight years before being teased from its lees and corked.

Vieille Vignes Françaises is a vintage champagne looked upon as Bollinger's most prestigious cuvee champagne. Vieille Vignes Françaises is a rare Champagne grown in a small acreage. Vieille Vignes refers to the training techniques adopted in the vineyard and not the rootstock.
